In this video I explain how to test the Automatic transaxle Input Speed Sensor in case that there is a fault code (P0717 | P0722) for this sensor or there is a hard shifting, or delay in shifting the gears. I explain the wiring diagram, how to test the sensor from outside of the transaxle (by checking the wiring), then I explain how to remove the sensor and replace it. I perform this test on a KIA 6 Speed Automatic Transaxle (A6GF1) which is applicable to all 6 Speed Automatic transaxles on KIA and Hyundai vehicle. Also the information provided can be very helpful to diagnose other transmissions too.
