ABS & Traction Control System Diagnostic
This course explains everything about Brake Control Systems diagnostic. This course covers ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), TCS (Traction Control System), ESP (Electronic Stability Program), HAC (Hill-Start Assist Control), DBC (Downhill Braking Control) and EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution). We talk about the system operation, components location and diagnostic, how to use the wiring diagram and scan tool to diagnose the system and much more.
This is a 3 hours online course, you will have life-time access to the course after enrollment, you will also get a certificate of completion at the end of the course.
We have covered everything you need to test and diagnose the components on brake systems, this includes:
– How ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) works
– How TCS (Traction Control System)
– How ESP (Electronic Stability Program)
– How HAC (Hill-Start Assist Control)
– How DBC (Downhill Braking Control)
-How EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution)
– How Passive Speed Sensors work and how to diagnose them.
– How Active Speed Sensors work and how to diagnose them.
– How Yaw-Rate Sensors work and how to diagnose them.
– How Lateral & Longitudinal G-Sensors works and how to diagnose them.
– How test the ABS/TCS internal circuit.
– How to read and analyze the ABS/TCS wiring diagrams and how to identify the wiring on each component.
– How ABS and ESP systems are connected to the CAN-bus network and how to perform the network diagnostic on an actual car.
– How ABS/TCS Hydraulic block works in any stage of braking including: Normal braking, Pressure Hold, Pressure Dump and Pressure Increase.
– How to diagnose the brake systems with scan tools and how to use the live data, actuation test or sensor calibration options to diagnose the brake systems.
